Martletwy lies in a tranquil and beautiful rural landscape; farms with animals grazing in fields; small clusters of woodland; winding narrow lanes with hedge banks and tantalising glimpses of the outstanding scenery of the River Cleddau.
Our C.L. is 'hidden' within this glorious Pembrokeshire countryside on the Cwm Deri Estate, home to Pembrokeshires' only commercial vineyard and the superb 'Cwm Deri' restaurant.
Cwm Deri C.L. is a no-children touring caravan site. We do our best to provide a haven for caravanners who prefer a quieter and more peaceful site. The site itself is well landscaped and spacious. Each pitch has its' own 10 amp electric hook-up. The site has several water supplies, plus waste and chemical toilet disposal facilities.The CL also has it's own WC and washbasin.
With its own private entrance and placed well away from the public areas of the vineyard, the Site is situated on the upper slope of a gently rolling Pembrokeshire valley, with superb views to the West on a clear day. We are not far from many of the main attractions in the area, which makes us an ideal centre for discovering the delights of both North and South Pembrokeshire. Guests are welcome to bring their well-trained dogs, free of charge, but these must be kept on a lead for the sake of other guests, the stock and the wildlife on the Estate and surrounding land.
The nearest local shops are in the town of Narberth, which is situated about 6 miles away. The nearest supermarkets are within a radius of 15 miles. Alternatively why not treat yourself to a meal on-site at the Cwm Deri Vineyard restaurant?
We first opened our C.L. for the 1991 season, and since then are delighted to say that Cwm Deri has proved to be a very popular destination for Caravan Club members from all over the U.K. Lots of the visitors who return again and again are now family friends!
We are pleased that Cwm Deri Vineyard was featured in "Caravan Life" magazine in December 1998. We have also been regularly mentioned in the Caravan Clubs' Choice Locations list and regard this as high recommendation in itself.
We can never guarantee the weather, but work hard to keep our C.L. smart and tidy, and we can assure you of a warm welcome if you and your caravan come to stay at Cwm Deri!
